Thomas has nearly 40 years of experience in software development, systems integration, as a consultant, in sales & marketing and business development. He combines passion and innovation with 20 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Collected in corporations like IBM, Mannesmann Mobilfunk (Vodafone), E-Plus Mobilfunk, TUI/Robinson, Thomas Cook/Aldiana. Living and working in eight different countries in Europe, Asia, North America, and now 12 years in Southern Africa stand for a view far beyond one's own nose. Since 2016, he has focused on the digital transformation of destinations and their hotel, experience, and hospitality providers. The goal: the sustainable economic and crisis-proof optimization of value chains for the benefit of destinations and their providers. The strategy focuses on giving tourism companies back their independence from market-dominating platforms and thus regaining control over their own visibility, digital presence, reputation, marketing and distribution.
