Mr. Arvind Radhakrishna holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Economicsfrom the University of Mumbai, India. Professional experience: International career spanning over a 20-year periodand centering on trade, investment and economic development; held senior positions in important Government institutions such as the Mauritius ExportDevelopment & Investment Authority (MEDIA), the Mauritius Industrial Development Authority and Enterprise Mauritius; Established and took charge of MEDIA representative offices for the promotion of exports and investment in Taiwan and South Africa. Worked for the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency of the World Bank Group as RegionalAdviser/Senior Investment Promotion Officer, with focus on theSouthern Africa region; Conducted consultancy assignments in areas of trade/investment for the United Nations Conference on Trade & Development (UNCTAD); Board Director of International Trade Centre Advisory Board, based in Geneva and as Chief Executive Officer, Enterprise Mauritius. Career focused primarily on several key functional areas: economic development, investment promotion, export promotion, trade/enterprise/industry development-international marketing, private sector development and capacity building of institutions responsible for export and investment promotion.
